Most of what we take in, is jam packed with moment to moment dopamine producing, satisfaction guaranteed, nervous system over stimulating constant fast talk and maximum effect image flashing, and so what I have done here may feel a little…boring. I assure you - it is not. It is slow, but it is rich. And funny. The art work changes very little over the course of the hour, but the finished product is not the point. The process is the point, and it’s during the process when the magic flows and reveals itself freely. Not after. …but that doesn’t change who I am. That doesn’t change why I create, except and if only to make it *more* authentic, more necessary, more immediate. Do I create art ultimately to make a buck? No. I create art because it is who I am to create art. I create art because I recognize its purpose to evolve me as an individual and through evolving me, evolve the whole of humanity. I create art because it is these hands that reach into the ether to pull out loaves, and fishes. I create art because I am created as we create AI because it is all we can do. To mature, to become sentient ourselves as a child becomes a teenager becomes an adult moves from sentience to sentience, awareness to awareness, and the ability to procreate. It is what we have always done and will always do and may we mature enough to cooperate with this new life we bring forth instead of competing because that is a fight we cannot win.

I just accidentally spelled this exclipse wrong but something about that X feels so very right.

This coming Wednesday Thursday, in between the 19th and the 20th of April depending on where you reside, a bold Moon will strut herself in front of the giantess Star called Sol and that Star will go dark to our eyes if we are so lucky to stand under skies in East Timor, parts of Australia and Indonesia.

In these places, the day will turn to night and for a brief, glorious moment, darkness steps up to rule across the land, and

some auspicious souls will witness The Ring.

For weeks now I have been experiencing the symphonic build up to this eclipse as physicality cranked up to hyper drive, trigger dates singing songs like scream core and pure powder, bringing all of my skills to the table just to relax enough to move with this song.

And I am excited to move with it.

If the build up says anything about the event, then we are in for a treat. This one holds gold, so dangerously deep, so enthrallingly glistening, and we’re already dangling miles below the surface in this mine shaft, so as per usual with these celestial parties ~ the only way out is through.

This is the first Song of the Spheres podcast of 2023 ~ As of late I have been taking in much more than I’m expressing out. The reverse of how I usually roll. I have been studying astrological paradigms for the first time, beginning in 2022. For the decade preceding, I was phobic against what (almost) anybody had to say “about” the planets.

I wanted to know for myself.

I wanted direct experience.

I poured over charts.

I tripped under dark, naked skies.

And that was good while it was good…

In this podcast, I offer a weaving together of the Christian’s Christmas with the Pagan’s Winter Solstice, in service to all.

This month’s dark Moon occurs just before Christmas, on the 23rd of December, and two days after the Winter Solstice ~ the longest night, thus this lack of moonlight makes this particular Winter Solstice exceedingly dark indeed!

For those of us who love the night, this can be a time of inner harmony and delight ✨ But when we don’t understand these celestial coincidences, when we are told we should be celebrating and full of light and life and joy and we’re not, the dissonance can be maddening.

So let’s discern the living world together, shall we? And from the reconnecting, may the light of understanding this natural world, grace your hearts and your minds, in Christ Jesus and all the other Gods too.

Greetings, fellow lovers of the phenomenal world! Today’s podcast is about the Sun and the Moon and their coming cyclical turnings. Some of the other planets come to play here too, but our focus is on today’s Autumnal Equinox and this Sunday’s Dark Moon in Libra.

At this dark moon, we come into contact with an extreme and conflicting energy current of manic growth and desired completion. 

A moon of paradoxes.

The tension between the need for expansion and the need to let something end. 

During this time on and around the dark moon, we may feel like the thing we need to bring to a finale wants to keep growing and may even be growing out of control. If this is the case for you, look at where RxJupiter at 4 degrees of Aries lands in your chart to pin point target the thing - in you - that wants to grow and feed.it.something.



It will not stand for going hungry and if you try to starve it, it may just eat you. You’ve got to give it something else to feast on.

This Saturday, September 10th,

on the East Coast of the United States, just before Sunrise, the Moon in Pisces opposes the Sun in Virgo, with the Earth in between their impassioned tug of love (and war). In this position, the Sun’s light shines full on the face of the moon, and we see, if we are awake early enough, a glorious Pisces full moon, setting in the West.

And as it turns out, the exact moment of full moon is THE SAME all over the world! So in this podcast, we take a world tour and view the full moon through the eyes of our brothers and sisters, in another time and in another place.

If the Virgo dark moon of the 27th saw you cutting away, letting go, surrendering, then this breaking down prepared the way for what the current cycle wants to build up and create. At the first quarter Moon in Sagittarius this past Saturday, Mars in opposition offers a scaffolding for strength and support for the fragile new life blinking its eyes awake in the growing light of this cycle. This beam is hard, inflexible, unmoving. This is a strong support rather than a cuddling comfort, so approaching it and accepting it for what it is rather than what we wish it was, is essential for utilizing this energy to its fullest potential.

So now we are in this building up phase, as the moon gains light, so do we gain clarity, strength and resources for what we are building, knowing this will culminate in some way on the 10th at the full moon.

This week has a lot of big energy, thankfully with some reprieve at the beginning of the week, on Monday and Tuesday. The Universe invites us to find peace and rest on these days in any way we can, even if it feels so small, it will help.

This week’s astrology is hard

The mutable signs mark the times in the calendar that are between seasons and these include Virgo, Sagittarius, Pisces and Gemini. In these places, one season blends with another, the days shift wildly between what has been and what will become, creating storms as warm fronts meet cold fronts, increase in sicknesses as our bodies adjust to the change, and both confusion and excitement in the rollicking swirl of great change.

The Sun moves into Virgo in the Northern Hemisphere this week and we begin to notice the darkness arriving a little earlier in the evening, and depending on our location, the deliciously cool mornings and evenings. But the Sun in Virgo isn’t the only fresh wind blowing our way, this week begins a conversation we are not usually privy to; a clandestine meeting foretold in the sands of time, that we ~ yes we ~ have the distinct privilege of attending.

This is the place where yes and no meet and match wits. It’s a fuck yes of the highest accord, serious on the level of life and death/love of a lifetime, life altering decisions, cosmic and karmic and dharmic all wrapped up in the curious connecting of separate but magnetized human beings in a myriad web of relating.

Race car driver, tight rope walker, or martial artist ~ pick your poison. Each of these people have spent decades developing the kind of Saturn and Mars skill that this time right now demands of us. Think of the tiny, minuscule, instant to instant, back and forth of relaxing into the flow and muscular engagement that each of these requires. Feel into it and you are feeling into this astrology; the astrology you have been preparing for your whole life.

You are the expert of your life, and all of your skill is required for this ride.

Weekly Astro weather for the 1st through the 7th of August, 2022. We begin the week with a bang, truly. Mars conjuncts Uranus at 18 degrees of Taurus at 7 49 pm, EST almost exactly conjunct the North Node, opposite the South Node.

Break down, break up, break through. Turn on, tune in, drop out. Surprise, congratulations, and you’re in big trouble mister; all are part of the possibilities with this alignment, and with the Nodes in the mix, these events will be of great evolutionary import, both individually and collectively.
